Dr. Rajeev Kapila is one of the most renowned, qualified and experienced ENT Surgeon in the region and the only Surgeon who is doing Cochlear Implant Surgery in the region. He did his MS ENT from SMS medical college Jaipur. He did SR ship from SGPGI Lucknow and MRCS from Royal College of surgeons of England. He is presently working as Director ENT and Head Neck Surgery in Deep Hospital, Ludhiana, and Punjab. He has more than 18 years of experience in his field.His main areas of interest are cochlear implants and CI surgery, OSA and its surgical management and Skull base Surgery. He did first secondary voice prosthesis implant post laryngectomy in his area. Also, he did first cochlear implant in his city and started the cochlear implant program. His primary area of interest in Head and Neck is in Thyroid Tumour surgery. He also did his thesis work on incidence of malignancy in solitary thyroid nodule.
He won gold medal in resident paper award competition and Best Junior consultation award paper. He has been a winner of various quiz competitions and poster presentations in various conferences. He more than 20 national and international publications and has been a guest faculty at innumerable national and international conferences.
